Data Engineering Lead / Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineering Lead to join our team, focusing on leveraging data to drive strategic decisions within the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SQL Server, Snowflake, ETL technologies, and pharma datasets, along with proven experience in designing database architectures and leading a team of database engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust database architectures to integrate multi-source data, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance
• Lead and mentor a team of database engineers in the development and optimization of ETL processes using technologies such as Informatica, Alteryx, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Talend
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of pharma datasets, including market data, CRM data, promotional data, and prescription data, to support data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that align with the organization’s strategic goals
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Drive the adoption of best practices in data management, quality, and governance within the team and across the organization
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and introduce innovative solutions to enhance business outcomes

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance regulations in the pharmaceutical industry
• Certification in Snowflake, Azure, Informatica or other relevant technologies
